(Imaginary crowd: *fuuuu weeeeet* Lizzy's my goddess!)
*continues living in self-denial*
I'm not here to pimp Jaclyn, or me. Really.
See, beauty is such an ambiguous and fragile word.
Everybody female in the world wants to be as beautiful as Lizzy Angelina Jolie.
Sorry to all Jennifer Aniston fans out there ... I still think that Angelina Jolie's the best. <3
But really, what IS the definition of beauty? Eyes? Height? Big boobs?
The thing is, I truly believe that there is no true definition of beauty. That's why we all crave it. Heck, even men crave beauty.
I think that chubby faces, big noses and fat bodies (hey .. sounds familiar. Eek.) is beautiful. Would anyone dare contradict me, and insist to my face that my personal view of beauty is 'wrong'?
And even if anybody did beg to differ, what makes you think that my mind'd be changed so easily? Beauty is subjective. I'm allowed to think that everyone is beautiful, even when they're not, if I choose to.
Whoever who set the standards for beauty is an ass.
I personally feel that a girl (or a guy, for that matter ... ) is beautiful and pretty, when he/she is being true to themselves, and not compromising their standards and personalities to suit other people's needs. Hey, everybody is pretty, when they smile. =) At least I think so.
I've had friends who critisize each other to no end, behind each other's backs. And yes, truth be told, I have participated in these pointless bitchings myself. It just feels enjoyable, discussing other people's negative sides with your friends, doesn't it?
But when it happened that I was the one who was being discussed ... It didn't feel so nice anymore. :D
Wanna know what I think? Screw being pretty.
Girls put on make up, diet and try their best to look good all the time, because they want to be noticed by guys. We want to feel wanted.
Hell, why not put on make up, diet and look good for yourselves? I'm pretty sure that everybody loves somebody who's confident, sassy and loves herself. *sneezes* Like me.*sneezes*
It's harder than what people think, being a girl. It really is. Not only do we want to look good ... we want to feel good, too.
And with the emergings of all these hot, sweaty guys with six packs, I guess even being a guy is pretty stressful as well. LOL.
Big deal. Everybody's supposed to have their own views of beauty anyway. And if you don't, and only appreciate beauty that's on the pages of fashion magazines... *shrugs* I'm not too bothered.
I'm perasan, loud-mouthed and pretty tom-boyish. Yup, I'll gladly admit that I'm not perfect, and just like everybody else, I have flaws. Even though I still think that I'm the best. :P
But despite all my obvious flaws, like my chubby face and big nose ... Does that mean that I don't think that I'm pretty?
NOPE.
I still think that I am. :P So sue me.
Of course, I have this deep, sinking feeling in my gut that tells me that I'm about to be proven wrong ...
