Saturday, December 03, 2005 || Liz is a good girl. A damn good girl. And a good cook too.
Okay, so I HAVE dyed my hair.
... But the result isn't very obvious, so the hairdresser dude told me to return tomorrow. -_-
Anyway, I'm a damn good girl. Gah. I woke up damn damn early today to go to the market to buy groceries to cook dinner for my mother. GOSH, I SWEAR I'm such a good daughter.
I mean ... Yeah, true, I DO give them a hard time with my sarcasm and hot temper, but seriously, very few people I know'd do that, okay! Why cook for your mother when you can go out and party?!?
Well, what to do. I have a heart of gold. =(
Anyway, I decided to cook possibly the only thing I knew how to cook: Instant noodles!
But of course, it's my improvised version. I call it the 'Eliza Lee Yummy Wunny Instant Mee'. Lame? Never mind!
Anyway, what I do is, I buy pork balls, crab meat, cabbages, other vegetables and eggs to cook with the maggi mee. Which, the result is extremely nice. MUCH better than plain Instant mee!
See? cheap + easy-to-get ingredients! So first off, you cut the mushrooms into smaller pieces, cut the cabbages and mushrooms/whatever other vegetable as well before washing 'em. Kids, remember to WASH your vegetables, k. (
LOL!!)
Then, you shalt pour water into a frying pan and wait until it boils before putting in an egg. (Wah, long winded sial.)
Look! An egg! (Okay, I know I sound lame ...)
Then after awhile, throw in the other ingredients. If you have crabmeat, throw it in last, cause those take the least time to be cooked. And nobody loves soggy crabmeat.
SEE! I TOLD ya I could cook!
... Right. Shiok sendiri betul.
After about 2 or 3 minutes, put in the instant noodles and the soup powder.
Leave it for a few minutes. Up to you whether you like soggy noodles or somewhat crusty ones. =D
Ahh ... A masterpiece.
Looks damn nice already, right? I swear it does! The camera will NOT be able to capture it!
OMG, doesn't it look absolutely DELICIOUS?!?!?!
Damn damn nice, okay. Even my mother said it was good! =D
TRY IT!
Mum: Why the heck are you taking pictures while you're cooking?
Me: Erm, can post in my blog.
Mum: What's a blog?
Me: An online diary ......
Mum: Girl, you SERIOUSLY need some new hobbies.
Yesh yesh. I actually sorta agree with her. Now, who's willing to teach me guitar?
Anyone? *puppy dog eyes*
I'm going to check out Ringo Language Center (is that what it's called? Can't really remember ..) for korean language courses! It's a language I'm deeply interested in. Japanese too. NOT because of the guys, I swear. =)
And I want to move slightly more towards genre blogging. Would be good for me, I guess. Since I already have so so many private diaries waiting for me in my room! So I'm going to majorly redecorate my blog ... soon. I want a Christmas banner, but my photoshop skills are too noob. -__-
I'm going to start hunting for a job soon. Any recommendations, anyone? Hehe!
EDITED: Okay, I know it's 2 A.M and all, but why am I at home, watching Naruto and reading Jackie Collins?!?!?!
Yes yes, I know that Jackie Collins writes really erotic-esque books. But it's the quality of writing that matters... Right? Not that I think that she's that amazing ... Too much sex, if you asked me.
And I seem to be moving back to my anime days. Yeap, back in form 3, I used to be CRAZY about anime. Christine and I even teamed up and, and I would religiously burn One Piece for her. (Come to think of it ... Girl, lend me your Samurai X series!!) Since I got out of that phase, I've only been watching Naruto and One Piece off and on, since the series is still running ...
So I've downloaded a LOT of Naruto, the episodes which I have been missing out on. And I seriously have no idea why am I watching it. Yes, the storyline is cool and the characters are creatively done, but I can't stand the lame filler episodes. Gah. Who wants to watch Naruto blast his stupid Kage Bunshin No Jutsu all the time?! Man, even the supporting characters have cooler signature moves.
But I still love Rock Lee, Gaara and Shikamaru. And for them, I shall continue watching them kick the asses off Orochimaru's subordinates with their whole 'I shall risk my life to save my nakama' thing. -_-
Oh God, I can't imagine how lame this will look to someone who hasn't watched Naruto.
I need a new hobby, pronto.
On a lighter note, I *think* that I may FINALLY be able to watch Harry Potter. And fingers crossed that the tickers won't be sold out as usual.
